Gurugram: The situation in Gurugram is now under control, with the market in Sohna being reopened after a peace meeting between the administration and designated community members. The police have assured that schools, colleges, and offices in Gurugram are functioning normally, with internet services operational. However, in Sohna, educational institutions remain closed until further orders.

Following clashes in Nuh district, companies in Gurugram, including Maruti Suzuki, Hero Motocorp, Honda, Nestle, Coke, Pepsi, and Bharti Airtel, are cautiously monitoring the law-and-order situation. Some employees have been asked to work remotely or return home early.

In Gurugram, five FIRs have been registered, and the police have arrested five individuals in connection with the mosque burning case in Sector-57. Meanwhile, in Nuh district, the police have arrested 116 people and filed 26 FIRs related to the riots. The situation is being closely monitored with regular patrolling by 14 companies of police force in Nuh.

Despite the normalization of the situation, internet services in the Sohna area remain suspended, and Section-144 is still imposed in Nuh, Gurugram, Faridabad, Palwal, and Jhajjar districts. The administration has appointed a committee comprising members from both communities to help enforce peace and harmony in Sohna.

Overall, five people were killed during the communal clashes that started in Nuh and spread to Gurugram. Authorities continue to appeal to the public to stay away from rumors on social media and to exercise caution during this time.
