CM Mohan Yadav to review public grievance redressal, welfare schemes in MP’s Barwani

Bhopal/Barwani, Aug 14 (IANS) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will on Friday review public grievances and the implementation of government schemes in Barwani as part of the second district-level programme under the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan, launched a week ago.

CM Yadav will chair a district-level resolution programme at the Barwani Collectorate and review complaints and applications received through the CM Helpline portal. The exercise will focus on the status of grievance redressal and delivery of public services.

The Chief Minister had launched the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan from Chhindwara on August 7, and during the very first day, he suspended six officials from different departments after they failed to comply with the government’s direction.

“The state government’s highest priority is to ensure 100 per cent resolution of people’s problems, effective implementation of government schemes and continuous monitoring,” the government said in a statement.

During his visit, CM Yadav will inspect the Government Higher Secondary School at Borlay and review the district’s first Maths Park, ICT lab, Atal Tinkering Lab and smart classroom.

He will also interact with progressive farmers, entrepreneurs and students who have performed well in different fields.

The Chief Minister will discuss agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry and fisheries with progressive farmers. The discussions will cover HDPS technology-based cotton cultivation, custom hiring centres, Farmer Producer Organisations, food processing, dairy production, conservation of Nimari cattle, fish seed production and fish farming.

CM Yadav will also meet representatives of farmer organisations and discuss issues including the e-token system.

The Chief Minister will separately interact with entrepreneurs working in food processing and agro-industries, cotton and ginning, renewable energy, waste management, eco-friendly products, manufacturing, innovation and startups.

The Barwani programme will be the second major district-level exercise under the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan since its launch on August 7, with the government seeking to strengthen direct monitoring of public service delivery and grievance redressal.

Under the campaign, ministers and senior officials are visiting districts to directly assess public grievances, implementation of schemes and delivery of services.
