‘Mission Ghazwa-e-Hind’ working to convert Hindus through multiple fronts: BJP Leader K. Karunasagar (IANS Exclusive)
New Delhi, July 20 (IANS) BJP leader and High Court advocate K. Karunasagar has alleged that organised conversion activities are being carried out through multiple channels and called for greater awareness among the Hindu community, describing them as part of what he termed “Mission Ghazwa-e-Hind.”

Speaking in an exclusive interview with IANS, Karunasagar claimed that a systemic campaign, which he termed “Mission Ghazwa-e-Hind,” is actively working to convert Hindus through various tactical fronts. “Mission Ghazwa-e-Hind,” is actively working to convert Hindus through various tactical fronts, including what he described as “Love Jihad,” “Gym Jihad,” and “Education Jihad.”
He further elaborated on his views, saying: “Ghar Wapsi is a way to enlighten the Hindu community. Half the battle is won by educating society about the dangers they face. The second half involves bringing back those who have drifted from our faith. ‘Dharam bachao toh hi desh bachega’ (Only if religion is saved, will the country be saved).”
Referring to a recent controversy involving a school teacher allegedly asking students to recite religious verses outside the prescribed curriculum, Karunasagar alleged that educational institutions were being used to influence young minds.
“A school teacher is trained to teach a subject, not to impose religious practice. The parents of a minor child do not enroll them to have them read Kalma; they send them for an SSC-based education. This is a deliberate attempt to breach religious boundaries in a private, secular space.”
Karunasagar criticised the initial police response to the incident, claiming that an FIR was registered only after public protests and the intervention of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). He said he has formally approached the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) and the NHRC, seeking the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe what he described as a larger organised conspiracy behind such incidents.
Expanding on his allegations, the BJP leader claimed that what he termed “Conversion Jihad” had evolved from historical invasions into modern-day infiltration in workplaces and social circles. Referring to an alleged incident at TCS Nashik, he described it as a “planned conspiracy” in which employees were allegedly coerced into religious observance and subjected to workplace exploitation.
“These are not isolated cases. From beauty parlors gathering data for gangs to recruitment tactics, this is documented and systemic. They are working on a clear objective—to terrorize, convert, and conquer this country in the name of religion.”
When asked about concerns regarding his own safety following years of high-profile legal battles, Karunasagar said he remained committed to his work.
“This is not about my life; it is about serving a cause I believe in.”
He concluded by urging the Hindu community to remain vigilant and united. “Hindus must identify the forces acting against this nation and their dharma. They must start by questioning injustice. When the society is enlightened about who their enemies are, they will be equipped to fight back.”
Karunasagar also praised the BJP government’s policies in several states, stating that amendments to the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) and the implementation of anti-conversion laws serve as safeguards against what he termed “conversion mafias.”
